In a week 13 that was devoid of marquee matchups, outside of Eugene, chalk took hold with most of the top teams which sets up a massive rivalry week to close the season.
In the game of the weekend, Oregon kept USC at arms length most of the game and gave itself an emphatic resume boost with a 42-27 victory. Lincoln Riley once again failed to lead his team on the road against a ranked team. Meanwhile, Dan Lanning's squad is a win away from returning to the CFP.
Both Michigan and Ohio State won against overmatched foes, setting up a showdown with massive playoff implications. However both sides emerged with questions sure to make their own fanbases uneasy heading into next week.
Northwestern got bowl eligible with a barn-burner win against Minnesota. Penn State kept bowl hope alive by dispatching Nebraska. Washington easily handled UCLA, while Notre Dame obliterated Syracuse.
Iowa was able to fend off Michigan State. And Wisconsin might actually be on track for a good-ish season?
