The feast of trumpets is our annual reminder of pivotal events in human history… but they are events that have not yet happened. It is a day that marks the end of humanity's grand experiment with self rule.

The trumpets we associated with first of the fall holy days… are war trumpets, calling troops to battle. However, the trumpets are also a proclamation of rejoicing, and victory. This is what I would like to focus on today… rejoicing.

Every human being who has ever lived will be judged. You, me, the man down the street, Europeans, Asians, Africans, Christians, Muslims, and Buddhists. People who died last week and people who died 3,000 years ago.

Various non-biblical cultures have their own ideas about life after death. Christians, Jews, Muslims have their ideas about death. Without recounting all the variations the basic concept is that a person will be judged after they die and receive some sort of reward, or punishment based on what they did in this life.

Most of what is taught about the afterlife and in particular about judgment is foolish non-sense.

The only reliable source of information regarding the afterlife and in particular about judgment is the bible. Many people think they know what the bible says about judgment but really don't. The average person's belief about what they think the scriptures say has more in common with human folk-tales that the actual recorded word of God.

Today we are going to review the biblical teaching on judgment.

The pouring out of the holy spirit of God on all peoples and nations signaled a dramatic change in the way God's work would be accomplished in this world.

The date was Pentecost 31 A.D. and after that the world would never be the same. It was the beginning of the final age of human history which could be called the age to the Church.

The people of God called from all nations, races, and tongues would now serve as the chosen people of God taking the place of Israel.

But how long will the age of the church last?

Are we approaching the end of this age?

Is a new age about to begin?

We live in a time that promotes hatred and rage... two signature characteristics of the Godlessness of the end-times is brutality and lack of self control. It is inspired by our adversary Satan, who is also the adversary of all humanity and hates us.

There is no prayer our Creator is unable to hear… He is all knowing and all seeing. God also has all power over all things so He is not limited in what He can do in response.

God has the ability to hear all prayers but obviously does not grant all requests made in prayer.

Three key factors will be discussed:

1️⃣ Submission to god's will and His authority in your life

2️⃣ Make salvation, resurrection and eternal life you top priority

3️⃣ Remove anything that might hinder your prayer

" rel="noopener noreferrer">3 Steps to More Active Fellowship

The church of God is at war with Satan... because Satan is at war with us. Right now our conflict is like a cold war... a war of deception, disinformation, propaganda, and threats. Psychological warfare geared toward wearing down the resolve of the opponent and their willingness to defend themselves.

We are warned that very close to the return of Christ the restraint that currently restrains the demonic realm will be removed. Then Satan's war with the Church will go hot.

The Church of God is Satan's #1 enemy because we carry on Jesus work of exposing Satan, making known his devices, and training believers in spiritual warfare.
