Weekly Sketchbook

On today’s episode of the podcast, we’re talking about the River City. River City is an animated short comedy series that RC has been working on for about 3 years with a team of writers from the St. Louis area.

On today’s episode of the podcast, we’re talking to Demetrius Neal. Demetrius, aka Meachy, is a good friend of RC's and a Commercial Photographer based in St. Louis. Meachy has an amazing view on creative life and living happy, and the whole interview was full of giggles, smiles, and good times. If the audio quality is a little lower than what you'd expect, that's because we recorded this in the old studio with all three of us standing around a condenser mic. The sound could be better, but the content is top notch.

On today’s episode of the podcast, we’re talking about the storyboard process. We discuss what storyboards are (for those who might not know), why they are important, and how we approach them. There’s a great analogy, a breakdown of a recent experience we had with a client, and some background on how this process can be different for other types of creatives.

Welcome back to Weekly Sketchbook! On Episode 3, we’re talking about seeking discomfort as a creative. This conversation came out of some journaling and meditation that RC did. We had this conversation after recording the episode for next week, and we decided it was so good that we were going to put it out right away.
