This weeks track is a weird one. Started out one way and then I slowed it down, added a bunch of samples, messed around with it a lot, sped it back up at points, dirtied the mix a lot, tried to mix it again, burnt out on it, and finally uploaded it.

I don't fully hate this track but I don't love it either. The curse of weeklybeats we all know well.

another quick weekender one. and last song in my 30s! thanks to weeklybeats i've made more music in the last 6 years than all previous years combined. it's been a journey and loving learning about myself, music, and production techniques, but also playing as myself and playing music. here's to another decade full of music in all forms and building the craft but never forgetting it's about play and having fun, and how that vibe can be captured from within you, into the music, and out into the world.

VCVRack again, messing about with the Interia chord-generation module which takes a single note and creates chords, you can then use CV to modulate it. It has this pleasing clockwork effect with the dual trigger sequencers I used.

Flodman was the name of an ex-work colleague I was trying to remember and, as things do, it just appeared in my mind later in the day.

This morning, I woke up to a very sad muffin, at which I specifically said "tf is this shit? what a sad muffin". My partner suggested I do a song about said sad muffin, so here is a song about my difficult time this morning, titled 'Sad Muffin'. I too, at times, have been known to resemble a sad muffin.
