This was made by chopping a sample on the SP404, then moving those chops to Dirtywave m8 for sequencing.

I much prefer this than sequencing on the SP404, however when trying to sequence on the 404 i could easily jam out interesting new variations, I think next time I'll do alot more resampling of the chopped sequencing and then move them to the m8 later than i did this time.

Threw it in ableton with ozone on it, the mix is pretty muddy, so there's alot to be improved there.

My submission for the second round of the WB Discord's Friendly Sample Challenge administrated by AiDeRen via Google Drive.

This composition is so titled because my upload schedule is 1-week offset from the biweekly Sample Challenge proper, and because this composition devolved into kind of a weird exercise in fifths. Started out as this sketch for a more modally-coherent take on a process export from my last submission.

Input samples for this submission are WB Sample (2) by Lizenn, and NEPHRON_Fmin by MyloWhyTho. The only other audio source present is a generic clap that appears twice.

To AiDeRen: I remember the part of this you (lightly) requested be added to the sample pool. I will be resynthesizing it with just supersaw (since i replaced the saw w/ Lizenn's guitar) and doing so this coming week

A bit of prog rock this week in 7/8

Following on my previous song Welcome to the Future's story of escaping from the evil AI and heavily influenced by the credits scene from Wall-E where they rebuild the world by planting seeds after exiting a spaceship.

Musically it's quite a simple 4 chord loop in A minor (A A/G Em F) other than the bridge which uses the F as a secondary dominant to go to Bb for a lovely borrowed phrygian II chord.
