This week I felt like playing around with different styles again.

I wanted to try blending a bit of trance and techno together, creating something that takes a little from both worlds.

it feels like the theme of my life right now is moving on to new things. So the emotion of this track carries that vibe. I had a very challenging time finding the time to create this because the last week is the busiest and most transitionary week I've had in years. But I have the routine, so I always find time to make music.

Power outage during the time I was working on this.  No, I hadn't saved my work in quite a while.  Lost most of the song....start over.  I'm glad it happened because this turned out better than what I was originally doing.

This is upbeat... I think? it certainly has a positive message... maybe? i don't know. It isn't as dower and moody as my usual offering, so it's something!

Lots of guitar layers - trying out some new tonal things - experimenting with some tapey-chorus-lofi-y stuff - I'll keep tinkering.

Trying to embrace vocals more - have them more of a focus in the mix, as well as layering with harmonies - I'm not 100%, but I feel I'm getting somewhere.

Thanks for all of the lovely feedback and support - I love this group of people and this is continuing to be an enjoyable and purposeful part iof each week!
