This week is an acidy eurorack live performed jam with my weird Sophie style chorus that I have just put into open beta a bit longer than my usual stuff but I couldn't stop jamming lol

Noise engineering: Versio - running PonyTOY my weird Sophie inspired chorus, used for metallic tone on the drums (excluding kick)

Qubit: Data bender (303 glitch effect)

All sequenced and final mixed by Octatrack along with an M8 for recording

When switching to my new PC, the display didn't make it, so had to get a new one (once I found the culprit - initially though, I might have bricked the graphics card). As of today, I am up and running again (apart from some DRMed plugins which still need some convincing, and another bunch not yet installed).

Did this mostly to not fail this week. No elaborate structure, no buildups or filter sweeps, just a few riffs that came to mind.

Planned on making a bigger thing this weekend but life happened and I ended up having only around an hour or so to make something up. I hope y'all find some enjoyment in it nonetheless. It was fun to make. Because of the time restrictions, it was mostly made by mangling up ableton samples.

Drums recorded with 2 mics (1 kick, 1 overhead). it's my first time recording and mixing a drum kit and also doing anything in garageband on ipad. wasn't the best experience given the lack of metering and having to get used the plugins..

That being said, would love to know your thoughts on the mix, and how I can make the drums sound more lively and gritty
