tbh i don't think this one is great mostly because the level disparity with the bell vs the drone & low lead sounds is too glerb to flerb if you know what I'm saying.

No special arrangement rules this time, the track is built around a glitch jam on a drum break I recorded first. It starts clashing a bit once I bring in a more, uh, regular beat, which I fixed by sidechaining everything :-D

Something dreamy came out this week, and I was able to muster plenty of guitar this time around. GUITAR GANG RISE UP!

No live drums yet, but hopefully soon.

Composed this on the DirtyWave m8 and used Tables this time around. I read more of the manual!

Anyway, tried to make this sound big, I think it kind of worked.  Edited and recorded with Ardour 9.7 on AV Linux.  Keeping it FOSS, boss.

This week, I really wanted to make some more eurobeat uplifting epic song. After 4 days of bashing my head against the screen because nothing I could come up with was satisfying, I ended up giving up and leaning towards simpler electro music.

Aaaaand I ended up with something I kinda like ? I mean, I loved it 30 minutes before the upload, now I hate it but I decided it was enough work and that I could rest. Maybe tomorrow I'll love it again ! (I kinda hope so)

Before starting hating it, I pictured in my mind a little video of cutesy silly bunnies dancing on a planet with this music seen thought a telescope from earth, and then going in space still dancing. If I had a lot of money it would make a cute and fun animated MV but it'll stay in my mind for now ! Maybe one day......

At first it was very inspired by Kid Francescoli's "Moon" which I really love, trying to keep it simple in the layers, and play around with the synths, but it ended up something else entierely, a bit more bouncy (hence the rabbits !) and probably waaaaay too layered, but anyway. Used a lot of presets from AIR's "Hype", a CC0 voice sample of an australian person saying stop (she's definitely promoting the rabbits in space I'm sure of it !) and a drumkit I took time to design myself ! (Thanks to the eurobeat song that'll never exist !)

A nice experiment playing with modulations and lfos, something more attuned to my usual productions, work is blowing my soul lately, hopefully will go on vacation next month, lets see what it brings! I still have so many thing I want to try and also collaborate with other of you here!! I'm always so happy to make music even if it just for few hours, I'm glad I started this challenge and I will keep pushing it through the year <3

Hi there!

This week I progressed a lot on my new M4L drum synth. I didn't had enough time this week to work a lot on this track so I made it today essentially with my device. Still in the previous tracks fashion, some kind of electro breakbeat.

I'm also trying some modulation technics in order to work on better gnarly basses and sounds and stuff and working on stereo spread.

I began this week's track with a drum program, that I then put through a glitch processor to create a more complex drum track.

I then built out a bass track (doubled up) and 2 motifs. I then went and arranged the tracks elements to the final track.

For this week's track, I experimented with individual EQ modules on the track's sends, along with the Main Mixer's effect send and automation.

After setting up the mastering chain, I exported the track.
