    Why is my existence political

    Why is my existence political
    Political
You don't know what it takes to be
    Me
I don't know what it's like to be
    Free
We all got shit going on
But I refuse to be your pawn
I've got a family of friends
You just got a means to an end
The water of the womb is thinner thinner
Than the blood of the covenant
    Faggot
    Degenerate
    Abomination
All names born from your fear
    Fruit
    Fairy
    Sodomist
    Projecting from places insecure
I've got a family of friends
You just got a means to an end
The water of the womb is thinner thinner
Than the blood of the covenant
I didn't choose to be like this
But the faggotry is a gift
    You may feel safe
    But I feel alive
    You think you're free
    But social pressures lie
I've got a family of friends
You just got a means to an end
The water of the womb is thinner thinner
    The blood of the covenant
I've got a family of friends
You just got a means to an end
The water of the womb is thinner thinner
    The blood of the covenant
The water of the womb is thinner thinner
    The blood of the covenant

  • Week 26 - ONE HIT KILL - Un Hip Trill - LSDJ/Nanoloop/Guitar
Bit more surf BRK chiptune. There much more to develop here and maybe do some guitar takes that aren't wobbly uncertain trash. But just had to go in this direction this week as I had some of it in my head before I even touched an instrument and was just trying to get it to sound like what was in my mind. When there's moment like that, its worth paying attention because it can be effortless in ways.
Still going at these new lsdj kits.

  • Week 26 - eleventhstage - Untitled FMS Jam 03
After another FMS update from Ess, I decided to get back into the spontaneous jam method I was enjoying. Wrote some patterns throughout the week (during the bastard heatwave) in work and then just jammed 'em out on Saturday. First take used no matter what. Didn't even do any filtering this time round, raw is good.
    Enjoy

  • Week 26 - gify - Truth or Lies
Chad said you should tune your kicks to the 5th of your key... is this truth.... or lies??? Only WB can decide.
I tried that out on this one, and the kick is tuned a little higher than usual. I liked this chord progression so I just kinda went with it and built the whole song around it. I feel like something is missing when the main chorus comes in, but I'm not sure what. Any ideas? (did I overplay the chords beforehand?)
Anyways, enjoy! Not a huge banger this week but I tried to polish up this modest tune for you all. :)
Also, happy end of season 2 for WB 2026!

  • Week 26 - Ashtom - Komorebi
While I was mastering this week's track (a very simplified version of mastering, nothing fancy), I was wondering what title I could give it. Then I started picturing the rays of the sun piercing through the foliage and it really fit what I was hearing. I searched for a way to express this and found the japanese term "Komorebi" - 木漏れ日 - which is exactly that: the sunlight through leaves.
This is the continuation (track 3) of this bigger music piece that is meant to be listened while surrounded by nature. A very electronic representation of nature, sprinkled with some more organic sounds (but really not much), all made with the Synthstrom Deluge.
    Thanks for listening.
    Have a nice week.

  • Week 26 - dtsum - Coldnova
This is my first song made on the dirty wave m8, pretty happy with the workflow and how the song came together.
Being a noob though, after exporting, I put the SD card in my computer, to fetch the export, and found /renders had 8 files. I assumed I'd messed up and had exported stems by accident.. so deleted those and went to re-render.
When opening the song again to render 'properly' the song sounded like absolute garbage and I didn't know why. It took me a second, but I realized that the 8 files I had deleted were actually audio files used in the track .. resampled audio.
So had to rebuild a lot of it .. fml

  • Week 26 - embix - Bearing 155
Glad I started before the heat wave hit us. Initially wanted to make a fast paced track with 155bpm, but it somehow doesn't really feel that fast. Like looking at the beach while riding a motorboat. A soft breeze would be nice right now.
