Super fun collab with Mylo and DESLRV! Bouncing some samples and ideas around going both aggressive and melodic :) I really enjoyed the workflow and hearing a track evolving thanks to everyone different taste! Also a nice test for me to see how useful the iPad and m8 are when collaborating especially since I wasn’t at home for the week and had little less time than usual. I’d say given the right seat and moment it worked pretty well! Although I’d love to have ableton on the iPad instead of cubase that I used to edit the final submission :)

Wanted to work on another quite old one of mine, so I dug this up. I remember it was for a competition and I really liked it at the time, so thought I'd polish up whatever I could of it (whilst shaking my head at some of the sound and mixing choices past me made.)

As per usual in the past few weeks, I started off with a 303 :D Today however it took me into a completely different direction than I would have expected and ended up creating a very deep psy-trance track. Imagine a dark underground club in some rundown basement - that's where I would see this track playing.

The inspiration itself (in some way or other) came from a shooting star I saw today in the evening while walking the dogs. It wasn't just any shooting star, it was the brightest and longest shooting star I've ever seen.

As I have only worked on it today, it might be a bit rough on some edges, but I am quite happy in how it turned out all in all.
