Made some loops on the Dirtywave M8. Mostly samples and a some chords with the FM Synth. The "background" noise was recorded with the M8 microphone when travelling by train. Exported the stems from the M8 and worked on the arrangement and mixing in Ableton. Didnt add anything in Ableton except the vocal quote.

This week, I wanted to make something a piece that only used evolving Operator sounds I created, EQ, and a single reverb track, and it looks like I achieved that! Probably should have used some compression, etc, but I felt a need to stick to my challenge :) Subject is kind of self-explanatory - an introspective piece that leans into darker sounds and is about my getting stuck in my own head. Realizing now the bass tone might have been too constant/loud and could've done with some high passing/variation, but too late now unfortunately.
