Chopped up some clips from a jam I did with my buddy on Friday. A nice ambient soup to relax into. Not a lot of movement, but I hope the atmosphere it provides is enjoyable!

Looping something I played on my Minifreak, putting it through Ikarie and Sealegs before slamming it through MSCL for way too much limiting/compression. My buddy had his Digitakt going through a resonator and reverb/delay setup for more atmosphere and sound design goodness.

Didn't have much more than a solid hour for this one as I have been re-learning how to DJ after a solid decade away from the craft lolz! Still certainly going to be writing but shifting my main musical focus and style. Me as 'Joshua Morgan' will likely no longer be producing any new music at the beginning of the new year. Not really a re-branding as I'm stopping that all together and doing something completely different. That being said, for the remainder of this year, I will be experimenting with as many genres and styles as I can cram in to the remainder of this year.

I def could have done a better mastering job as it's not much more than Decapitator and Sausage Fattener (they go on EVERYTHING! lolz) but for this quick and dirty DnB track, I'm fairly satisfied.

Hope you enjoy and see you next week :)

And as usual everything was written with the m8 and exported into Ableton

Simple, house groove, used few elements but tried to make each one evolve and work hard in the track

You think the journey is going to work out, but there's difficulties. Good luck. This is all adding up to something. Hardware through an unnecessary number of plugins.

A catastrophe is a sudden, disastrous event that causes great suffering, destruction, or an unfortunate conclusion

Had one of those weeks this week where you start a track, then it doesn't work so you mess with something else (FMS by the guy behind fors, seems great but I need time with it before a track will exist), and then eventually start an idea late in the week and finish it in a day.

This is another of the interstitial pieces for an imaginary album this year. I'm enjoying the exercise of not writing a full track just a musical idea that can exist. Used the SEM synth by arturia in ableton and then added noises and textures on top, automating a lot to keep it going.

Enjoy
