Probably should be called No M8 Model01. Sadly my teensy inside the 01 m8 died on Saturday. This is a farewell song I was able to finish on my model02 that was silently waiting in the drawer for this very occasion. I'm still awating Tim's response, but given the option of gambling with the customs, I'd probably give a stab at hotair desoldering the teensy myself instead. Neverthelss thank you for the quality 5 years you have given me, model 11046.

It's time for a change.

Very low effort ableton because I only had 20 minutes at the end of my Sunday night BUT we keep on keeping on.

Even in the rush we can take time to find new and interesting things.

This started out as an ambient thing with some found sounds then something suggested a little bass riff so I followed  and didnt really pay attention to whether it stayed cohesive and here we are.

A spiritual sequel of sorts to a track called "study buddies" from seven years ago - even if it technically already got one in WB 2022. This doesn't really borrow material from those tracks, but I still think it reflects a combination of the vibes I was going for with both. Something soft and persistent. Hopefully a little magical.

(This one's a few sound-checks short on account of a hectic week. Goals for the final mix were to bring out more warmth in the strings and enough bass presence to make it legible, in contrast to the mix you didn't get to hear. Fingers crossed that I didn't overcompensate.)

I really liked the sound of the instrument packs I found and after playing around with then, it turned into this at the end.

I hope you guys enjoy this one, it was a blast to make. I feel like the composition turned out really well structured and balanced.

Been playing some casual dungeon crawling with final fantasy 3 on famicom in the shed this week. I wrote this inspired by the overworld theme on risa while taking some down time from it. It got bastardized into something else as I lost the save file several times; I had save states turned on, on my flash cart; meaning tracker hotkeys such as select + up was ruining my save file by accident.

Risa tracker really is great, the echo available on the pulse channels is such a luxury.
