This week I somehow had actual time to make stuff, even though it was a stressful week. Really felt like I hit a second wind!

Been watching a ton of Re:Zero recently and that anime is anything but dark so hence the inspiration for this tune. Drones are the Iridium a patch called My Blade Runner. Slow build up with them and then the guitars for some drama. Perfect.

Later some violin sonds come in to round out the ending. It starts bleak and ends bleak. Enjoy.

Inspired by the Tron Soundtrack and after watching too many GxAce camera reviews this somehow happened.

The Idea is a bit older already but i did not want to leave this one on the bench forever so i guess thats that.

Also hey everyone, hope life has been treating you all well.

For me its been quite uphill again after clearing some freetime for myself and enjoying the nice warm weather. Been going out a lot this past few weeks and working through some kodak gold 200 rolls with my Canon AE-1 and its been great.

Feels great to see the spring slowly come and bring lots of nice flowers and blooming trees.

Also i started practicing some guitar again and hopefully i can add it to some songs in the future. Its been fun but frustrating at the same time because id love to play for longer and more, but my fingers cant handle the metal strings on the electric guitar for very long. Might need to go for thinner ones which i dont need to press as hard on but thats something i have to experiment through the next few weeks.

Fast and distorted. A fierce, harsh adrenaline techno rush to play WipeOut to, again. At this point I'm just making an album 'tracks to play WipeOut to". This one might be a bit too dark and ominous for a typical WO track. But it was what the tune wanted to be. And I quite like this aggressive sound. Let me know what you think!

Started super late again this week, did even think about bailing out! But the kids were pretty quiet this Sunday so did tell to myself, why not just recording some drums and vocal, so I did a "quick" one take (actually 2 takes, metronome was super slow on the project I did load so I have all my ins setup, so intro is slow, then it is a bit less slow...) :)

Then did layer some synths over what I did sing on the living room...

It is a bit long I know, but to do the choices to arrange this in a more concise way, I should have started earlier this week so it is what it is!

I hope it will be a fun listen anyways!

Big boy did good again this weekend. He did compete in Judo again at Eastern Canadian Championship. He did go alone with his mother, I did stay home with the kid. Great that I could stream the competition. 2W 1L for Silver! :)

I'll go to Calgary for the Canadian Open championships next month with him. I dream for a medal there, then we go to Lake Louise doing some pictures with the medal next day... If he doesn't perform that great, it is fine too. It is gonna be a fun weekend.

Fitness journal - pretty bad. Did eat bad, didn't train much. Really, really I have to get back at this, but I don't want to be too harsh on myself, it is just a pause, did take WAY LONGER fitness pauses before, I am not at a bad place. Weight is up to 92 kg... Was at 89 maybe a month ago, I'd love to get down to 82-83 kg... SO STOP EATING TOO MUCH SUGAR and get back on the bike!!! ;)

Bit tired this week. Had something going at the start of the week, but wasn't really feeling it over the weekend, so I just wrapped it up.

This one is one long filter sweep up, one long filter sweep down. Broke up the descent with some variations plus adding another synth voice. Also finally learning how to read volume meters.
