I took some time off the project, most of the summer, it was just getting to be too much, and I had a lot of other commitments. I think the time away let me get a fresh perspective on what I want from music. I've been focusing a lot on live performance, and improvisation. I'm trying to improve my keyboard playing, this entry is a live recording of me playing an instance of the arturia augmented keys plugin.

This is a remix of Huabun’s WN “Riding into Dawn,” as part of AiDeRen’s sample challenge. I do a lot better with extracting material using longer recordings than I do with short samples, so this challenge called to me.

Just a blend of foreign radio, Huabun’s orchestra, drum samples, and a few ipad fx. Some very interesting tension building, and some very cool sounds. That’s what I strive for.

A friend of mine recently got married to a little (literally) man who everyone was wary of. He used to compensate for his lack of height by being a massive bellend. Anyway I wrote this song because lo and behold he's cheated on her a year later and it's over. I wrote it mainly from his perspective as he toys between going on the offensive or admitting he's wrong. The end section is from her perspective where she tells him where to go. Chord progressions just came from doodling. Oh and the title/end line is an intentional play on words, I'm calling him a little Dick but also saying he has one :) Enjoy
