Ableton Live + Mini Freak. The month of old school breaks continues with this one. Im sacrificing sleep to give this one the added push. I know I could do a lot more and clean it up a bit but then id be tweaking it endlessly and yeah, you know how that goes. sometimes you just gotta call it done. ..for now... Im not sure yet if next will be the last in this series, these tracks are actually pretty fun to program! Perhaps next month I will revisit the M8?

I actually wrote and recorded this one on Monday!! Got in very early as I knew I would have a very hectic week ahead of me. Sadly my prediction was correct and I have not had time to listen to people's tracks this week, and I am now finally uploading this very late on Sunday night.

This piece was recorded with a single zoom h4. Again, I did multiple takes, and ended up with 2 that were too close to call - in the end I decided either would do just fine and chose this one. Inspired by Venus being incredibly bright and visible in the early evening here. Guitar in DAEAC#C# again.

Feeling a bit of guilt that I am not keeping up with a lot of things that I want to be doing, or feel that I ought to be doing. Trying to not let that get to me and feel comfortable that I am doing enough. I hope you're all doing well <3

Some more music I've been creating for the upcoming Neo Geo game Overserved, from Fullset.

It's really challenging to make modern-sounding, interesting and compelling music on such a limited system (4 x mono FM synthesis channels, 3 x fixed-width square wave channels, 2 x 18.5 kHz ADPCM sample playback channels (the other 4 are reserved for SFX)).

The game is set for release later this year!

Another portastudio cassette acid minimalism experiment. Probably went a little too hard on the levels, the transients and attacks go a little bit wonky and the groove suffers here and there. But I'm having an acid jolly good time!
