This was Kerry's and my final discussion before her actual surgery. She was assigned a date, and we chatted about what her final steps were to be cleared for surgery.
The next time we chat, Kerry will be on the post-surgery side of the fence.
The final steps, exams, and days leading up to surgery can be very emotional. Listen as Kerry gives an inside peak into what those finals days and hours were like.
Regain happens to almost everyone that loses weight. Weight was designed to fluctuate, and when old habits creep back in, weight can tend to increase.
With it can come a wave of negative emotion, which can cause some of us to eat even more, causing us to put on even more weight.

Dr. Chuback wrote a book titled "Make Your Own Damn Cheese" and its a about a mouse named Earl. Earl meets all sorts of friends in the maze that help him understand that instead of running through the maze searching for scraps of cheese, Earl can make his own damn cheese.
We too can make our own damn cheese in life, and this can help us avoid running the maze all together.
