As audiobook sales continue to rise—up to $1.2 billion in 2019,according to a 2020press release from the Audio Publishers Association (APA)—researchand opinions on the benefits of audiobooks have been popping up in more placesthan ever. I did a post on @tanishareadingcorner asking people if audiobookscan be considered reading, and majority said yes but there was a few that didnot agree. One person if commenting that you cannot “read” an audiobook andthat is cheating reading. It seemed the pool was split 50/50.
