Wendy Steele's (pictured) fascinating book helps us better understand the complexities in the relationship between humanity and nature in the context of cities, and the further dimension of the climate crisis.

Her new book, "Planning Wild Cities: Human-Nature Relationships in the Urban Age", has a provocative title; a title intended to drive our thinking and lead us to consider more nature and our city habitat.

Wendy is an associate professor in Sustainability and Urban Planning, co-located in the School of Global, Urban and Social Studies and the Centre for Urban Research at RMIT University, Melbourne.
