Episode 16 of We’re Not Experts is packed with takes you probably didn’t ask for—but definitely need. The guys dive headfirst into the swirling rumors around Mike Vrabel and Dianna Russini, breaking down the alleged affair and what it could mean (or not mean) in the world of sports media and coaching.
They also shift gears to college football standout Rueben Bain Jr. and his newly uncovered driving incident—does this kind of off-field issue actually impact his draft stock, or is talent still king when it comes down to it?
And somehow, Our Lord and Savior Donald Trump makes his way into the conversation, adding more laughs to an already loaded episode.
Justin goes a little more in depth about Parallax.
Hot takes, questionable expertise, and unfiltered opinions—just the way you like it.

Is the sub station theory dead? Falcons drop new uniforms, Kirk cashes in again, Justin shares big news, and we prove (again) we can’t pick March Madness games. Just another day in the Cave.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba joins the Bag Collection Agency and we break down the deal and what it means moving forward. Then we jump into way too early division predictions and lock in our AFC and NFC winners, fully expecting these takes to age horribly.

Free agency has officially turned into a fever dream. The Kansas City Chiefs grab Justin Fields, Jaylen Waddle is suddenly a Denver Broncos, and the Indianapolis Colts gave Daniel Jones $88M like it’s Monopoly money.
The Miami Dolphins have so much dead cap they might need a GoFundMe, De’Von Achane could be next on the chopping block, and now Kyler Murray to the Minnesota Vikings. At this point we’re not breaking news—we’re just trying to survive it.

NFL free agency has officially arrived and teams are throwing money around like the salary cap doesn’t exist. K9 lands with the Chiefs, Alec Pierce gets the bag in Indy while the Colts somehow trade Michael Pittman, and Malik Willis cashes in with the Dolphins. The Panthers pay Jalen Phillips big, the Raiders reset the interior O-line market with Tyler Linderbaum, and the Titans start stacking defenders. Geno Smith even finds time to beef with Wendy’s before getting traded to the Jets. Free agency is already off the rails.

The NFL offseason is already completely off the rails. We break down David Montgomery to Houston, Travis Etienne hitting free agency, Breece Hall getting “denied parole” with the franchise tag, and growing trade rumors around AJ Brown. Plus the Patriots cut Stefon Diggs, DJ Moore heads to Buffalo, Geno Smith somehow gets cut twice, and Ryan Clark delivers one of the wildest QB takes we’ve ever heard.

Episode 9 of We're Not Experts dives into the start of Combine season as the guys break down draft buzz and players to watch. They debate whether Breece Hall is stuck in a rough situation, discuss new UFL rule changes that could eventually make their way to the NFL, and react to the reported Jermaine Johnson trade. Plus, should the Cowboys pay Brandon Aubrey, what are they putting in the water at Ohio State, and Joe Brady says he “stood on the table” for Keon Coleman.

We’re Not Experts is a podcast hosted by two guys who’ve somehow survived 15+ years of friendship and now think that qualifies them to talk into microphones. We’re average early 30’s dudes…
We’re sports ethicists in the loosest sense of the term, breaking down the morals, madness, and mayhem of a wide variety of sports… but let’s be honest: football will absolutely hijack the conversation. We can talk about other sports. We just won’t stop talking about football.
Expect passionate debates, hot takes that cool off immediately, arguments that go nowhere, and the occasional moment of clarity that surprises everyone—including them. Stats may appear. Logic might leave the room. Confidence will always be high.
We’re not analysts. We’re not insiders. We’re definitely not experts.
We’re just two longtime friends talking sports the way most people do—too confidently, for too long, and with absolutely no credentials to back it up.
We’re Not Experts — and neither are you, so you’ll fit right in.
