How often do people comment that things were better off back in the good 'ol days? Certainly the seeds planted in the 1960s and 1970s have produced a stinking bad crop. Only the Democrats are excited about the ruined socio-economic system. But altogether considered, the remnant of faith is toughening, the hymnody is more robust and less sentimental, and Franklin Graham is telling it the way it is. Flaky churches are going away. The ra-ra mega church doesn't last as long as it used to.
