How are Christians supposed to have possessions, wealth and finances in this world? How do we get out of debt? How are we supposed to properly order our loves in this lifetime to the glory of God?
Listen as our senior pastor Rev Dr Jeff Patterson leads us through the story of the widow's mite and how it doesn't matter how much or little we have, but what we DO with what we have.
In 2017, Google trends reported that searches for anxiety had doubled from the previous year. Nationwide polls indicated that anxiety had eclipsed depression as the number one mental health concern, especially among millennials and Generation Z. That was four years ago.
Then, COVID hit and anxiety about an unseen virus has driven the anxiety epidemic even higher.
Listen as Pastor Clark Chilton leads us through some Biblical teaching on anxiety. Remember three words when struggling with anxiety: Word, Weather (It together) and Watch (your gauges).

All this week, hope has been the engine driving your life. Hoping for a new school year. Hoping for a better job. Hoping for better health. Hoping for a better world. Hope drives us every single day.
We can also have misplaced hopes and misplaced loves. Following Jesus Christ in many ways is allowing God to reorder your hopes and therefore your loves. Many hope in money and people, but money and people make terrible gods.
The hope of the Church of Jesus Christ for millennia has been not only in the resurrection of Jesus Christ, but that all who believe in Christ will, as Jesus says, "live just as I live."

This week’s phrase: I believe...in the forgiveness of sins
Do you believe in forgiveness? Do you believe in second chances? Because when we proclaim that message, along with the Resurrection, is the most distinct message the Christian church has. In this message of forgiveness, we are saying to the world: you can have a second chance. And a third, and a fourth. Forgiveness may not change your past, but Jesus will change your future.
It is critical to first find forgiveness for your own sin before addressing sin in someone else. Sin is first and foremost, against God. When we sin, we do so against the will of God, so there is a vertical aspect of sin. But there is also a horizontal aspect to sin: it can affect others, and the sins of others can affect us. What to do?
