Our special guest Rev. Ellen Martin leads a ministry called A Life Shared that's purpose is to empower, equip and engage parents (and their kids) to have open and honest conversations about how God has designed us and human sexuality. learn more at www.alifeshared.com
In this sermon, Ellen is preaching from Genesis 2-3. At the very beginning, as soon as sin entered the human race, shame and guilt immediately followed. We hide from God, and don't want to be found. We are ashamed in our "nakedness". Listen to hear how God wants you to return to the garden and not be ashamed any longer, for grace covers everything that is brought into the light.
In week nine of our Apostles' Creed sermon series, our senior pastor Jeff Patterson gives an inspiring and biblical case for the importance of the Holy Spirit for the forgiveness of sins, the creation of the Church, the resurrection of the body and more.
Imagine you break the law and go to court. You walk in the courtroom and the judge's bench is empty. No judge.
Empty bench, just attorneys. Without a mediator, a final decider, there will be chaos. Without a decider? With no one on the bench? Who’s to say what is right or wrong? Who’s to say?
Rejecting Jesus Christ as a holy and righteous judge is a dangerous proposition. This is a classic case of be careful what you wish for. The great irony is that many thirst for justice in our country but reject any idea of god as a holy judge.
Listen as Rev Clark Chilton leads us through week 8 of our Apostles' Creed series.
Why is the doctrine of the second coming of Jesus Christ so vital? What does the Bible say about Christ's return and His subsequent judgement of all creatures?
Listen as our senior pastor Rev Dr Jeff Patterson leads us through the book of 1 Thessalonians and this critical topic of Jesus Christ's return and His Final Judgement.
What does it mean that Jesus is our 'high priest" now that He is ascended into heaven?
Listen as our senior pastor Rev Dr Jeff Patterson unpacks week seven of our series "Creed: what the Church believes and why".

hy is the ascension of Christ mentioned in the Apostles' Creed? And if Jesus is ascended, what has He been doing for the past 2,000 years?
The Ascension is the culmination of the entire salvation work of Jesus Christ. If His birth is first base, His life is second base, His death/resurrection is third base, then His Ascension is home plate. Without the Ascension, no victory!
Listen to what the Bible says about Jesus' ascension and how He has perfectly fulfilled the roles of prophet, priest and king.
