The book of Philemon is a short, but convicting book. On the surface we examine the issues dealing with a slave who has run away from his master to ask for Paul’s intervention. But as we dig deeper we discover that we often don’t see people the way God wants us to. We realize that being consistent in showing love means loving our neighbor, who we might not want to love.
