Music is powerful. It can take us back in time, bring us together, express our emotions, and more. As we worship God, singing is a powerful way we can do that. A we look at Exodus 15 we unveil powerful reasons why we sing.

Most of us want to be in control. Many of us have a problem with submitting to authority. That is understandable given the many instances of those in authority abusing their power. But, as we conclude our study of Hebrews by looking at chapter 13 verses 17-25, we will learn the need to submit our will to God and those he has delegated the responsibility to care for His people.

There is a lot of great theology in Hebrews. Chapter 13 wraps it all together and gives some practical teaching. In doing so it helps us overcome very common false teaching. We handle the first set of teaching in Hebrews 13:1-16.

We ought to fear and revere God. But for those who are following Christ, we ought to be filled with joy instead of terror. As we look at Hebrews 12:18-29, we will be brought to two different mountains: Mt. Sinai, and Mt. Zion. The difference between the two makes all the difference in our faith.

Spiritual exhaustion can be dangerous. As we look at Hebrews 12:1-17, we learn how through Jesus we can build endurance and overcome. Along the way we learn some practical actions to help one another.

We don't know what the future holds. That might make us anxious or fearful. Learn how to face that uncertainty with faith as we examine Hebrews 11.

Often when we want to have courageous faith, we find that it is feeble. As we look at Hebrews 10, we will discover how we can have courageous faith.
