Dr. L. Edward Day is an Associate Professor, Chair, Department of Sociology at Chapman University and the Director of the Earl Babbie Research Center in Orange, California. He received his Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Washington in 1992. A criminologist by training, he has a special fondness for cross-disciplinary research.
