Dr. Diaz is a Child Psychologist and Clinical Assistant Professor of child and adolescent psychiatry at the NYU Child Study Center at NYU Langone. Dr. Diaz specializes in behavioral and parenting interventions for children with ADHD and disruptive behavior disorders and has served in a number of supervisory and educational roles through which she provides training in this area to students, educators and other mental health professionals. She has also developed various parenting interventions, including a brief parenting group for parents of children with ADHD and a tantrum de-escalation and emotion coaching framework, which she hopes to publish in the near future. Lastly, she regularly shares her expertise through various media channels; most recently featured as an ADHD expert in the award-winning documentary about ADHD, The Disruptors, which is currently available for streaming across platforms.
