Lastly, we hit on Britney Spears and everything she’s going through right now. In her first public statement since her courtroom testimony, the singer told her 30.6 million Instagram followers on Thursday that her social media persona had given the wrong impression and that she regretted "pretending like I've been OK the past two years."

On Wednesday, Spears called on a judge to end the conservatorship that has given her father, Jamie Spears, control of her finances, medical care, and career for 13 years.

Addressing the Los Angeles court by phone, she described the conservatorship as "abusive." Seemingly lending weight to the theories of the #FreeBritney movement in a 25-minute speech, she said she felt she had been forced to perform, was given no privacy, and was made to use birth control, take medication and attend therapy sessions against her will.

Amid dropping vaccine demand in Ohio, Governor Mike DeWine announced five, weekly drawings of $1 million open to residents who've received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. A similar lottery for teenagers will provide the lucky names with a full, four-year scholarship to a public university in Ohio - room and board included.

"The number of Ohioans who get the vaccine will determine what our future looks like, particularly this coming winter," DeWine said in a statewide address Wednesday. "Everyone has a stake in more Ohioans getting vaccinated."

Meet Justin, AKA: Kodak! Levi's long time business partner and best friend, Justin, joins us as our official producer. The girls (and everyone else) were tired of the button presses, so we brought in a professional. Kodak has been in the music/audio industry for years so we knew he'd be the perfect fit for the job.

Dogecoin was created by IBM software engineer Billy Markus from Portland, Oregon and Adobe software engineer Jackson Palmer, who set out to create a peer-to-peer digital currency that could reach a broader demographic than Bitcoin. In addition, they wanted to distance it from the controversial history of other coins. Dogecoin was officially launched on December 6, 2013, and within the first 30 days there were over a million visitors to Dogecoin.com

And of course, Justin Bieber has dreadlocks, AGAIN. The 27-year-old "Peaches" singer debuted locs on Instagram Sunday , sharing several pictures of his controversial new hairstyle that elicited both calls of racial insensitivity and praise amongst peers. "Swags crazy," Jaden Smith commented under one of Bieber's post, while Instagram user @joetermini commented: "Just out here living your best life." But for people of color, natural hair isn't seen as trendy or cutting edge. It is often discriminated against and policed. In 2020, a Texas teen was suspended for refusing to cut his locs. In 2019, a New Jersey high school wrestler had to cut off his locs to avoid forfeiting the match. In 2015, Zendaya's locs were referred to as smelling of "patchouli oil and weed" on the Oscars red carpet. The list goes on. Locs – which are commonly referred to as dreadlocks, a term that holds a historically negative connotation – is a style where hair locks into fused coils over time. The hairstyle has traditionally been worn by people of color throughout history.
