Summer hiatus comes to an end and the podcast is back!

This week we get the podcast refocussed back toward it's original vision. (We got a little off track there the past couple months). Focus this week is on longevity and the key things people who live in the "blue zones" tend to incorporate into their lives.

"If you do what you fear, your fear will disappear" - my inspirational quote for the week. Situations that are unknown or unfamiliar can be uncomfortable. 

Working toward getting my yogi status back, recap on Ohio and winery concerts. 

We often focus on cleaning or revamping the outside of things, the things people can see. But we dont always give that same attention to the inside. This week i challenge you to make your inside match your outside, or vice versa if you’ve done a lot of internal work and need to let the reflect on the outside.

We've been talking about it forever. We've done recon trips, house buying trips and trips to pick up keys. But the next trip is the final one. Jake, our podcast audio guy, has packed his bags and his heading over to Ohio. And although it seems like a milestone week to me, he of course takes it all in stride like it's no big deal. We talk about what he'll miss the most about his home town and what he thinks his first few days in his new home will be like. He also left me with one more great idea to "borrow".

How do you live to be 93? Just ask my Grandma! It's my grandma's birthday today so I share some fun memories about the time we've spent together.

Could I have missed my calling? Maybe my super sleuth skills should have been put to better use. Don't be surprised if you see me start showing up as a modern day Maddie Hayes from the 1985 crime drama Moonlighting. It could happen.

This week I was reminded that I'm not good in a crisis. When life threatening events take place I'm not the one to turn to. I know that about myself, I'm just not sure why or how to change that. But after last night, it's something I'm going to explore.

I sat down with Kathie Flood this week and came out of this podcast episode so inspired! Kathie's journey is so full of amazing twists and turns, from life guarding in Iowa to partnering with Dr. Sylvia Earl (an American marine biologist, explorer, author, lecturer and a National Geographic explorer-in-residence since 1998) on a VR dive experience. This is a real example of what can happen when you follow your passion and remain open to possibilities and opportunities.
