Facing unmet expectations and disappointments are painful, but we must choose to embrace God’s “no” or “not yet” as a path towards growth. We cannot buy into the lie that God is rejecting us, because He’s not. With our limited perspective we often can’t see what we’re potentially being protected from or why things happened the way they did. By leaning into God’s sovereignty, knowing His thoughts towards us are good and plans for us are perfect, we can navigate the “no” or “not yet” with faith and trust.
