If you have been to a Church meeting in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, you have probably heard the word "sustain" used rather frequently. So what does it mean to "sustain" someone in the Church? Do I need to constantly be aware of the person's needs and responsibilities? Do I need to agree with everything a Church leaders says and does in order to fully "sustain" the person? What if I sustain someone but don't agree with them? Is that possible?
