This week we’re looking at the question, “is Jesus God?” Well, people say all kinds of things about who Jesus is but what matters is what he says about himself in his Word.

And in his Word the same attributes are given to Jesus and God the Father. Jesus is described as the eternal and self-existent one. He’s described as the One by whom everything was created that has been made. He’s omnipresent and sovereign over everything. He’s the King of kings and Lord of lords. Jesus is all-powerful, he healed the sick, cast out demons, and raised the dead—sometimes from a distance!

All of these attributes are traits of God!
