In this episode, Arnie and Fred discuss the Judgment as described in the Bible. Arnie begins by referring to what Paul had to say to Felix the Roman Governor of Judea about the coming judgment of God. We then note that there will be a judgment that is said to be the last day and it is appointed and assured. The Bible says that every accountable soul will be at the  judgment and we discuss those passages that say so.  We discuss those Bible passages that say that the Lord will be that Judge and why we will be judged by Him.  Finally, note that there will only be one standard of judgment. In this episode, Arnie and Fred discuss the literal and figurative  language found in the Bible. Paul mentions having used a figure of speech in the Corinthian letter.  This discussion is important because some Bible students think everything the Scriptures say is literal.  Others think the entire Bible is figurative and everything symbolizes something else.  Neither view is correct. We are reminded that the Bible is verbally inspired and that Jesus treated accounts of certain events as historically accurate and literal. We note some of those events. We note that Jesus and His apostles understood some historical and literal Bible accounts to contain figurative language.  We talk about the times Jesus and His apostles used figurative language themselves. We are reminded that in our daily conversations we do the same. There are ways that we can distinguish figurative language from that which is literal and we note them. This is the third episode that Arnie and Fred discuss  what that Bible says about human traditions, doctrines and creeds. We note that these contain false doctrine that the  Bible calls heresy, that is propagated by heretics and results in division. The inspired Bible writers told us to reject such traditions that are not found in the Bible. We are to speak where the Bible speaks and be silent where the Bible is silent. We note some of the errors contained in the creeds and what Jesus had to say about the human traditions in His day. We talk about several false doctrines that are common today that are specifically not found in the New Testament. Arnie and Fred continue their discussion of Human Traditions, Doctrines and Creeds in this second episode of that subject. We note that the apostles were inspired to teach what the Hoy Spirit supplied them in the words they preached and wrote down. Those words were certified and confirmed by the miracles that the Holy Spirit provided in the miraculous gifts the apostles had been given by Him. Contrary to some of the Creeds,  Christ is equal as od with the Father. Christ claimed equality with God when questioned by the Jewish leaders of the day.  Before coming into the world in the flesh, Christ's substance was identical with that of the Father.  The Son radiates, not reflects, God's glory. Christ is said to be both the Great God and our Savior. The false doctrine found in Human Traditions, Doctrines and Creeds results in division and is referred to as heresy or from a heretic in the Bible. In this episode, Arnie and Fred discuss what the Bible says about human traditions, doctrines and creeds. We talk about the three main creeds, their influence upon the denominational churches and the result of the same which is primarily to replace the actual gospel teaching from the Bible. Creeds address only the interests of the uninspired councils that produce them. 

We note that the original text of the New Testament remains unaltered from generation to generation, unlike creeds that are often revised or replaced.  We discuss the completeness of the New Testament and its inspiration. We also note that Jesus condemns any tampering of it.

In this fourth and final discussion of this subject, Arnie and Fred continue to note some of the various theories offered by sceptics to explain the missing body of Jesus. We talk about the stolen body theory and the imposter theory. We review a number of the prophecies concerning Jesus' resurrection, promises related to it and the quotations of those prophecies and promises made by the apostles. We review the claims that the bones found in various ossuaries in recent years are those of Jesus. We note the attempts of Hollywood and various news organizations to undermine God's Word and the faith of Bible believers.  We conclude our discussion by noting that the Bible record declares Jesus to be the Son of God with power, that He was seen by over 500 witnesses after He was raised from the dead and is in fact the final judge of all men.  Take about 30 minutes to listen in on this last episode on this subject. In this third episode of What Does The Bible Say About Jesus' Death, Burial And Resurrection, Arnie and Fred begin by noting what the record says about the guards and what they did after Jesus was resurrected. This necessitated a discussion of the actions of the Pharisees relating to the guards. Next we talk about Jesus' appearance to His disciples in Jerusalem for the first time on the first day of the week and their reactions.  Finally, we note what the Bible says about Thomas who was not with the disciples the first time Jesus appeared to them. We talk about what Thomas said and did on the second time Jesus was with the disciples on the first day of the week.

In this second episode, Arnie and Fred begin the discussion about the women who witnessed Jesus' burial procedures and placement of His body in the sepulcher before the Sabbath began. We note that the chief priests and Pharisees went to Pilate the next day on the Sabbath and requested that Pontius Pilate have the tomb secured, what that entailed  and to post a guard there.  We talk about the record of the two Mary's who visited the tomb, who they were, what occurred and  the response of the guards that were posted. Jesus' resurrection is our next discussion. Again, we find women who had returned to the tomb bringing the spices that they had prepared and finding Jesus' body gone.  The text says there are 2 men there who tell the women that Jesus has risen and for them to go tell the eleven remaining apostles. We find more discussion of these women who evidently met the resurrected Jesus as they were on the way to tell the apostles. We talk about Mary Magdalene who was evidently the first one to arrive at the tomb and what she did. The text records John and Peter's arrival and what they noticed about the cloths hat Jesus was wrapped in. Finally, we find that the record notes that Mary Magdalene was weeping at the sepulcher prior to her meeting the Lord there and what He said to her. This episode begins a series of discussions  about Jesus' crucifixion, death and burial, Arnie and Fred start by noting how Luke begins the book of Acts. We refer to the discovery of some ossuaries in southeast Jerusalem in 1980 by construction workers.  We talk about these boxes containing bones  and some of the speculation concerning them. The actual crucifixion according to the Bible record is noted with the specific affects of the things that were done to Jesus while He was on the cross. We move to the concurrent happenings like the earthquake, what the Roman soldiers said and names of some the women that were there. We close out the discussion by noting  the two individuals who prepared Jesus' body for burial and how that was done. Take about 30 minutes to listen in on our discussion. In this second episode about what the Bible says about making moral decisions, Arnie and Fred discuss some questions we ought to ask ourselves to help distinguish right from wrong.  We discuss whether or not God has expressly forbidden a particular activity, will it harm me physically, will it damage my influence and will it violate my conscience?  We ought also to consider whether it will weaken my faith, will it put me in association with  bad companions and will it appeal to unrighteous desires in me?   We talk about whether this activity will steal resources that belong to God which He has entrusted to me?  We discuss whether our actions could cause a brother or sister to stumble into sin.  Will what I consider doing enhance my godly thinking as well as that of others?  Finally, will the words or actions that I say or do bring glory to God and is it unquestionably right? We close out the discussion by noting that the Christian simply cannot compromise with worldliness and note what Jesus says about the matter. Take about 30 minutes to listen in on our discussion.
