In this episode, I had the absolute pleasure of talking to Emma Diamond and Isabel Greenberg from the famed IG accounts @commentsbycelebs, @commentsbybravo and the Comments by Celebs podcast. And we commented on it all! We start out talking about the Kelly Dodd cameo-esque apology to the Dubrows, Kathy Hilton's text to Bethenny Frankel and her response, the recent ruling against Erika Jayne and if she is still a Fenty ambassador.
Then we get into our girls; these Housewives. We talk about this season of RHONY, the addition of Eboni and Bershawn and the town of Salem as the backdrop to the conversation we are seeing. Then we head west (I think) to Beverly Hills. We talk about the season as a whole and then we get into this week's episode and misdirected anger. And we end the episode describing our perfect night out and which housewives are coming with us.

Emma and Isabel are amazing and I can't wait to chat with them again (whether in NYC  with Sonja or over Zoom from my kitchen in Maryland.)  As always, shout out to my amazing podcast producer @cbreezzzey

This episode was so fulfilling and food for my Black Girl Soul! I had the absolute pleasure of speaking to Jonathan Chandler @jonathanchandler_ writer and host of The Bitchapedia Podcast. We jump right into RHOBH (Kyle is the real sniper from the side) and we talk how being nice and awkward doesn’t mean you aren’t racist, bigoted, discriminatory or guilty of stereotyping, take a quick detour on being raised by black parents (we don’t know quite how we got there, but it was good) and then we get back on the RHOBH course and Lisa Rinna. Next, we talk RHONY (the Vulture recap, Eboni's response, the response to Eboni and the night in Harlem,) our response to the season as black viewers and our dichotomy of feelings.
This episode was fun, reminiscent and full of  thoughtful discourse (and slightly noisy at times. I knocked some things off my desk and at one point you hear an alarm-not mine or Jonathans. 😂)

This week I'm so excited to be talking to my friend, Mandy Slutsker host of the podcast Is This Real Life and we had such a fun, funny and informative discussion! We talked about our cultures and how similar they are and the special moment that bonded not only our cultures but our friendship.  Speaking of friendship, we get into our New York friends ie: the women of RHONY this season and journeyed into the Fox Force Five +2 friendship in Beverly Hills, RHOBH (is Erika Jayne refusing to turn over documents?) And Mandy tells a story that involves Michelle Obama spitting out water and looking into President Obama's eyes. WARNING: I SCREAMED!

In this episode, I got to talk to Emerson Collins @emersoncollins and we had great time! We start out talking about how we met (thank you Clubhouse), Emersons time on the Bravo show, "The People's Couch" (which needs to come back) and the audition process and what filming the show was like. We then ventured into our very similar backgrounds, touched on mental health and of course we discussed our housewives. We gave our thoughts on the current season of the Real Housewives of New York (Sonja and Eboni's blossoming friendship is nice to see)  and we discussed the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and the sleeper hit it has become! Emerson and I had such a good conversation and this time it was out of the shower and over Zoom!

In this episode, I had the pleasure of talking to one of the Betches @betches co-founders, Sami Sage @sami and @betches_sup and we mention it all! We start out talking about how Betches came to be (3 childhood friends, a cold night and one amazing idea), how media conversations have shifted and evolved especially since the murder of George Floyd, the racial uprising and the pandemic and how to include your employees in these shifting conversations. Then we touched on Israel and Palestine (Sami has personal ties to both), the IG video that broke it down in a way everyone could understand and we end talking about, what else?? Our girls...our housewives! We talk the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and this season and of course, we talk about our Boo's in the Big Apple...The Real Housewives of New York! In this episode, I get to talk to one of my favorite Cuzzins, Aaron @aaronmarcellus_ one half of the amazing podcast Bravo While Black @bravowhileblack and we wasted no time jumping straight into breaking down the Real Housewives of New York and the "angry woman" (which was ACTUALLY Luann), the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (oh Sutton) and the Housewife spinoff on Hulu aka "The Housewife and the Hustler." 

We also touch on Kim Zolciak (go away from us with this), the absence of Denise Richards, and dogs as pets ( Aaron tries to convince me to get a dog. Did @cbreezzzey and my kids pay him to do that?!) and Kenya Moore's inability to see how foul she was for her tweets.

In this Friday's bonus episode, I had the pleasure of talking to Shannon M. owner of Perideaux Moon @perideaux_moon We first talked about Shannon's background in the corporate world of finance crimes and what made her walk away and take the leap of faith to start her own business, in the middle of a pandemic.

Then we get into the Real Housewives of New York and this weeks past episode and eventually, we head west to sunny California where we discuss The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Shannon reads me with her love of Kyle Richards. And at the end, Shannon tells a story of a housewife that may or may not have stolen her concept and become a cheater brand...again!

In this episode, I had the pleasure of riding around Beverly Hills (via Zoom) with Les Kurkendaal-Barrett @kurkendaal from the Reality Reading Rainbow podcast and we mentioned it ALL! We started off talking about therapy and the mental health stigmas that are in the black community and Les shares a personal story that so many can identify with. This led us into conversation about how we weren't shocked when Garcelle asked, "What is Lexapro?" Speaking of Garcelle, we get into our ladies of the hour: the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which then led into The Real Housewives of New Jersey, The Real Housewives of New York and Bravo overall. And we had to touch on the performative activism that seems to take up a space in the IG world of Bravo...and beyond!

Les is always so easy to talk to and I'm already planning for his return!

In this episode, I had the absolute pleasure of choppin' it up with DJ Richie Skye @djrichieskye and we had ball! We jumped right in and started talking about our girls of the hour...our housewives! We discussed the Real Housewives of New York and our feelings about Eboni K. Williams and the ladies group dynamic, our Jersey Girls (we're ok with Melissa Gorga and her non story line...she's a great narrator,) the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (Garcelle is coming in hot and we love to see it) and the Real Housewives of Potomac (the upcoming season and the absence of Monique.)
Then we went back in time and talked all things DJ Richie Skye (do I call him DJ or Richie and my longtime fandom,) the journey down his career path, his time on the Bravo show Stripped that became therapeutic and our all to real connection to a story that Eboni shared.
DJ Richie was just as amazing as I thought he would be and I can't wait for him to come back!

In this episode, I got to talk to Kiki Monique aka @thetalkofshame and we had such an amazing, soul stirring conversation.  First, we talked about Kiki's early years and how she navigated being in majority white spaces as a child and the impact it had on her and the way she navigates the world now. Then we get into how she got started doing deep dives (Tik Tok) and her coming over to Instagram and building her account. And of course, we jump headfirst into the Bravo-verse and Kiki shares with us her upcoming project (I have already subscribed!)

Talking to Kiki was like talking to a friend I have had forever...and I can't wait for her to come back!
