  • Financial Spending Strategies: How to Spend Money Strategically in Your 20s

#42: In this episode, Emily dives into her personal spending strategies revolving around money dials, a concept she learned from Ramit Sethi, author of "I Will Teach You To Be Rich". For as long as we've learned how to earn money, we've only been taught how to save money--whether that is 10-30% per paycheck or just being mindful of having a savings account for a "rainy day" or for future investments. But interestingly, it's not as common to talk about HOW to SPEND money. The concept of money dials may be a more strategic way for you to spend money and spend it where you love without caring about the judgement of others on how you choose to utilize your finances.

  • Shifting The Focus Into Yourself vs. The Guy You're Trying to Impress

#40: This week's bonus episode is focused on a topic or obstacle that Emily finds many fellow young females facing in their early 20s when it comes to dating and flings. During the "talking" stage, we end up catching feelings and even start becoming distracted by the new man in our life, only to go through another phase of crash and burn and to start over again with another one in a few weeks...or months. How can we shift that energy and focus into ourselves instead? Even better, how can we find a key area to focus on for the rest of 2020 for an even better version of ourself in the new year?
