On this week's show, we are chatting about the craziest laws in the US and primarily in our home state of Florida.  All of the craziest law-breaking stories come from Florida so it only makes sense for us to uncover the wacky laws.  Just remember there is a law because someone attempting or did it once.  We hope you enjoy the show!

 This week Tricia and Kim are discussing crazy laws in the US. Have you ever broken one of these laws?

Who knew there were so many laws that involve elephants?  You can’t tie your elephant up to a parking meter.  This along with many other laws are archaic yet still sit on the books.

 Did you know?

In Alaska, you cannot get drunk and remain in a bar.  

In Alabama, it is illegal to drive blindfolded.

In Arizona, it is illegal for a donkey to sleep in a bathtub.

In Connecticut, you can’t sell a term paper or essay.

• It is unlawful to throw a dwarf where liquor is sold.

This episode the girls really didn’t have much to talk about.  LOL Lets be honest, they always have something to say, however this week they don’t have a specific topic to cover.  Just a show about nothing.

 Is COVID still affecting you?  Kim will be traveling soon and had to weigh the time driving versus flying and the flights are super cheap so they are going to fly.  There was a diagnosis close to home.  Kim’s local watering hole saw a case COVID with their dishwasher.

How do you feel about people who are late?

Both Kim and Tricia are early arrivers, This is probably why they are such great friends. Kim wouldn’t tolerate it any other way.

Kim has a couple of Karens that are late for everything. Even to her wedding. One particular person was in the wedding and left to run an errand and they almost held up the ceremony. That still burns her to this day.

Crazy neurotic Tricia freaks out about being late while her husband is always cool, calm, and collective. Thank goodness or it would be a big mess.

Reunited and it feels so good. After weeks of recording remotely, the girls are back in the studio!!

How does reopening look to you? Around here the salons are open. No more roots and hippie hair. A local barber was cited for not following the rules of the number of patrons waiting inside. Hopefully, all the businesses can get up and running and everyone can stay safe. We are excited to see our community come back.

Have you ever regifted a gift or what do you do when you receive a bad gift?

Tricia is the queen of the regifting things that she didn’t like or need. Always careful to know who got her the gift so she makes sure nobody’s feelings are hurt. The best way to discard unwanted gifts is white elephant parties.

When will this quarantine end? While the state of Florida has lifted their stay at home, Kim and Tricia are still social distancing. Therefore they are still connecting virtually. It has become challenging not seeing each other and reacting to the other's facial expressions. They may break social distancing this coming week for the sake of better content.

Did anyone else notice Kim was a little “buzzed” in episode #20? Maybe a few too many Truly's.

Tricia is still on baby watch. No baby yet, which is good news since he still has a few more weeks.

This week the girls get into a little talk about obituaries. Not trying to go down a dark sad hole this idea came to be as Kim read an obituary that really blew her mind and she just couldn’t believe that was how it was written. So the girls did a little research on funny and inappropriate obituaries. 

Tricia has not had their baby yet but is officially on stay at home orders from her doctor. 

Kim continues on her buying and selling quest. She may not have a house but she has a PO BOX. As she continues on the roller coaster ride of real estate and least she can still get her Amazon packages.

Kim and Tricia have been friends since high school. It’s been a long time, but it was easier back then. There wasn’t the whole world out there to search for a friend, only about 1300 people in the entire school, 350 in each class, and maybe two dozen in the group that they hung out with. It only makes sense that they became friends.

Fast forward 25 years and husbands, kids, careers, families, and busy lives. The process is much harder. Just trying to find the time for the current friends they have can be challenging.

Kim and Tricia finally reunite and record this week’s episode together. They weren’t in the studio but Kim’s home office. Kim and husband are selling their house and Tricia’s husband sets the real estate sign in the yard. No better time to record.

This week the girls talk lots of things about dating, including dating apps and crazy stories.

Tricia talks about how her long term relationships all came about because either she knew them or someone she knew introduced. All exes were vetted

Although Tricia should have checked the credentials of the people doing the vetting could have saved a lot of time and issues. Tricia and her husband refer to ex’s in their past as placeholders. They just held the place until they found each other. 

Kim's best story involves a guy she was dating that she let borrow her truck. He took the truck on a drive that ended up involving the police, highway patrol, helicopter, stop sticks, police dogs and guns. It is a must listen to hear the story.

Much like the rest of the world, we are in another week of quarantine. This week we did the podcast virtually. We also brought on our most important guests yet, our husbands. These men get talked about constantly on the podcast, that we thought it only right to give them their own time to shine, and boy did they shine.
