In E 60 AA considers the whys and wherefores of rock n roll having little or no impact in mainstream music anymore, from the 70s and 80s hard rock bands that ruled the roost to its collapse under it's own weight of excess and hairspray in the 90s and conceded round 1 to grunge, round 2 to hip hop and 3 to nu-metal, arguably the last breath of guitars in the mainstream....why? maybe some reasons you might not have thought about, some banal and some extraordinary! and do we really care?
