About Mitch: 
Mitch Brooks is General Partner of High Street Equity Partners.

From 2011 to 2021, Mitch was an active angel investor and advisor. Previously, Mitch was Partner and Chief Operating Officer at DSI, where he led the firm’s internal business operations and external business development efforts before an equity exit.  Mitch currently serves on the Board of Directors of several charitable organizations, including Higher Achievement and THRIVE.

Mitch received his MBA from Florida A&M University. He is a sixth-generation Washingtonian and currently lives in the Fort Lincoln neighborhood of Northeast Washington, DC with his wife, Cadene.
