What is Age-Friendly Care?

Listen Later

An introduction to Age-Friendly Care at Home.

According to the US Census Bureau, the US population aged 65+ years is expected to nearly double over the next 30 years, from 43.1 million in 2012 to an estimated 83.7 million in 2050. We have an aging population with a growing demand for healthcare and not enough healthcare workers to meet this demand.

We'll examine the demand, 4Ms framework, ageism, principles, along with an introduction and benefits of the application into community-based care settings.
