This week’s episode explores the journey into 3D by fashion designer Fiona Mitchel.
Fiona shares her insight on starting as physical fashion design student, to becoming a 3D designer for some of world’s biggest brands. Fiona insists that having a foot in both physical and digital design has contributed her to have massive success.
3D has allowed Fiona to achieve massive success over the last four years. Working as an accessory’s designer in Amsterdam, a denim Tailor in London, and many more iconic brands.
As well as working as a Fashion Designer, Fiona is also a freelance 3D designer creating her own brand Mi-Mu. Mi-Mu 3D is a 3D design brand. Where Fiona creates digital fashion designs with a glossy, detailed, futuristic aesthetic.
Fiona states that 3D world is being able to explore the limitless boundaries of creativity. Anything that we can dream up - can be translated into 3D. Not to mention, the innovation and science behind 3D technology today means you can start with a basic pattern block, and end up with a one-of-a-kind beautiful piece of art.
