You've probably heard about the Book of Mormon. But what is it? How does it differ from the Bible?   The Book of Mormon is a collection of books written about the teachings of Jesus Christ, similar to the Bible. The Book of Mormon was translated to English in the mid-1830s by Joseph Smith. It is used by Latter-day Saints (known as Mormons or members of the LDS Church, though the official name is "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints).
