So this happened today. Postmortem Paul woke up, started up a coffee and hit record, and what you get this week is what happens when P.M. Paul comes back from the grave, and is ready to party! This week on What Lurks Behind Podcast Zero, we beat some "rabid weasels" as Paul raps off a love letter to one of his ultimate favourite movies of all time, Dan O'Bannon's classic magnum opus; THE RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD from 1985. Also this week, a quick review on the Dread Central Presents indie flick, EXTREMITY (2018)...and...Paul goes a bit further in detail this week about the Netflix series taking the world by storm; THE HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE. It's a love song, a tribute, and a haggle of blips and bloops from Postmortem Paul this week that ends with 45 Grave bringing it all to a close. Is this the best episode you'll ever hear about The Return of the Living Dead? No, probably not. But it's his fanboy moment of one of the most iconic zombie flicks from the 80's. So, get ready to party and fantasize of all the ways to die in this week's episode of What Lurks Behind Rabid Weasels. No weasels were harmed during the recording of this podcast. Only Paul's few remaining brain cells were damaged.
At last... For twenty eight episodes I have waited. I have sacrificed the worth of so many, so that you might listen. And yet, I would trade all my charming personality, for some way to make you see how helplessly I want you to be a fan, that I even kill so that you might love my show. And I, 'PostMortem' Paul, welcome you back to the Next Level Network production of What Lurks Behind Podcast Zero. This week's magnum opus is a 1986 independent monster movie 'so bad it's grrrreat!'; SPOOKIES. Also this week, 'PostMortem' Paul talks about more "Dollarama Finds", and he also gets a chance to proudly welcome the hundreds of new Facebook followers. There's a Lurkers Recommendation, and a closing track all about "monsters" from The Gathering. So get ready to listen to P.M. Paul talk all sorts of stink in this week's tour de force known as What Lurks...in the SPOOKY mansion. Warning, the zombies do fart. This is not a lie.
Welcome back Lurkers! This week's episode is a bit different from past episodes. This week, your host celebrates his birthday, and the anniversaries of the releases of two genre changing classic films. Night of the Living Dead from 1968, and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre from 1974 were both released on October 1st of their respective years. So Paul has decided that he would celebrate the occasion with the kickoff of "Shoc-tober with Podcast Zero", the kickoff of the greatest season of the year, the kickoff of the month of October with "Episode 28: It's The Great Birthday Episode, Lurkers". Also, included in this week's episode Paul recaps a few highlights from Windsor's local ComiCon 2018, mocks an old segment from 20/20, and closes out with a classic tune from The Misfits. So spark up your chainsaws, board up your doors and get ready to blow out some candles for this week's bloody birthday bash, also known as another episode of WHAT LURKS BEHIND PODCAST ZERO!!!

An operating room is no place to experiment And a podcast such as this is no place for taking anything seriously. That is why this week on What Lurks Behind Podcast Zero, Paul has fun cutting apart the 1962 cinematic tale of terror about one doctor's mad obsession. The ghastly, ghoulish story known as THE BRAIN THAT WOULDN'T DIE is this week's featured main attraction. In addition, other topics on the operating table include the recent reveal of the "new look" Chucky from MGM's forthcoming remake, some "dollar store" discoveries and a Lurker's Recommendation for some full-on, enjoyable "Cage rage" excess. There's also a time warp track, as the episode closes out with a live track from The Sugarcubes. It's an "interesting" episode this week, so get ready to lose your heads with Paul as he pretends to know what he's doing on this week's installment of slicing and dicing, to discover what's lurking behind the mad doctor's closet. But seriously, why wasn't Adam West cast for the role of Doctor Bill? Why I ask you! Why?!
Iä! Iä! Cthulhu fhtagn! Iä! Iä! Cthulhu fhtagn! By the Order of Dagon you have been selected to be sacrificed to the God of the Deep Ones. Your flesh and soul will suffer as a gift to the great one, and your ears....well, they get to suffer through this week's episode of the Next Level Network Production of What Lurks Behind Podcast Zero. This week, Paul takes you on a trip to Imboca where things get a little fishy as he breaks down his passion for the 2001 Stuart Gordon film, DAGON. Also this week, Paul talks about the second Halloween trailer, the Castle Rock season finale and the internet's hate towards it, and his Lurker's Recommendation of a brand new Shudder exclusive. It's far from being a Lovecraftian masterpiece, but it's the episode we get this week. But really, it's not that bad. It could be worse. You could be skinned alive and given to a big scaly god from the depths of the waters. On second thought, yeah, the episode is worse. But who cares? Laughs aside, hopefully you'll enjoy this week's episode of lurking fear and zero credibility. Ph'nglui mglw'nfah Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn!
One by one, we're gonna get you. We're gonna rip apart your soul, and tear away at your eardrums as What Lurks Behind Podcast Zero drums up some havoc from the Book of the Dead. In other words, Paul is going to incant through Episode 25 about, the film that helped catapult Bruce Campbell to eternal fame, THE EVIL DEAD. Also on the slab this week, the announcement of Terrifier making its' Netflix debut, a small piece about The Summer of '84 and a Lurker's Recommendation for a duo of ladies who are carving their names into the tree of horror. Along with a Labour Day (spelled with a "U") greeting and some exit music from a little band known as Death, this is the episode none of you have been waiting for. It's Episode 25, THE EVIL DEAD of What Lurks Behind Podcast Zero. You may need a raincoat for all the bloodshed.
Oh boy, are you ever in for an insane episode this week. Well, okay...not really. But if we're getting locked up in a "doom asylum", shouldn't it be fitting to be insane? Deranged? A lurker? Ahh, that's the one. And welcome back Lurkers to this week's bone tingling episode of WHAT LURKS BEHIND PODCAST ZERO. This week, Paul spends the latter half discussing the film of the week, 1987's DOOM ASYLUM. But before that, he takes a bit of time to talk about the "5 Reasons to Watch Horror Movies" (as inspired by the Dread Central Facebook page). There's also a recommendation for another Next Level Network podcast, in which Paul himself was a guest host. So Tina, pack up your tots and get ready to chomp into this week's episode from that dank, wretched podcast taking it to the next level. It's time to find out what lurks behind the DOOM ASYLUM. Malpractice insurance is mandatory.
Hi, I'm Paul, and I'm your friend to the end. Wanna play? Let's play a game called New Episode, for WHAT LURKS BEHIND PODCAST ZERO. This week's topic on the chopping block; CHILD'S PLAY from 1988. Along with spewing off about the killer doll from Chicago, Paul also serenades his listeners with such dialogue about Sharknado's final hurrah, and the Scream Factory Collector's Edition of Return of the Living Dead Part II. The newly announced Halloween soundtrack from Waxwork Records has its' moment, as well as talk about anniversaries, legacies and legends, the impossible song to find, and more. Are you ready? Make sure you have batteries in your trusty device before listening. But if you notice the batteries aren't in the device, but it's still active, you may want to do something about that before it has the chance to KILL YOU!!!
