What the HealthTech? was launched by market leading risk, quality, and compliance software provider, Radar Healthcare in April 2022. It was designed as a platform for those working in health and social care to talk about challenges, have open discussions, and share best practices across the industry.
Over the last year there have been discussions around mental health, culture, health inequalities, how to drive change, and learning along with industry topics such as CQC regulation, Learning From Patient Safety Events, After-Action-Reviews, and the Patient Safety Incident Response Framework.
We've welcomed some fantastic guests from organisations such as HC-One, iTS Leadership, Patient Safety Learning, Public Policy Projects, AvMA, NHS Improvement, RCH Care Homes, Malling Health, Cinapsis, Thymia, Making Families Count, Curve Learning, Care Match and many more.
To mark our 53rd episode, we're looking back today at just a few of those guests and what we've discussed this year!
In this week's episode, we have another #ThrowbackThursday treat! To give our viewership more insight into our people, the way we work and why, and some of our USPs, we hand the mic over to our experts and listen to them chat about how Radar Healthcare builds strong partnerships, creates positive outcomes, drives innovation, and everything in between.
This week we have a very special episode! Since launching the podcast, we have asked all our guests "what is your what the healthtech moment?" As you can imagine, we have heard everything from the truly weird and wonderful to emotional and life-changing - and these stories are just a snippet of the amazing people and work being done within the health and social care community. So, let's take a trip down memory lane and look back at some of the incredible and heartwarming stories shared on What the HealthTech over the past year.

Like all our employees, our Chief Revenue Officer, Simon Qasir, is extremely passionate about making a difference within health and social care – and this passion started from a young age. Simon’s family has a long history of owning care homes, and from this, he quickly learned the importance of providing quality care to residents. Eventually, this then led to him purchasing his own care home and becoming the youngest registered Care Manager at the time! In this week’s episode, Simon joins Justine Abson, Senior Marketing Manager to delve deeper into his background in social care and how he carries this experience through into his role today.
The sky’s the limit with data in healthcare, but how can we improve our use of it? Senior Marketing Manager Justine and Senior Marketing Executive Rhiannon Hoyes try to get to the bottom of it, whilst discussing SMART objectives, data culture, and even New Year’s resolutions.
