Paul’s great prayer in Ephesians 1:15-23 contains four great prayers. Let me list them for you – the prayer to know Christ, the prayer to know our calling, the prayer to know the riches of his inheritance and the prayer to know Christ’s resurrection power.

Paul’s great prayer also contains two choice phrases that we have been using in past studies. I want to point them out to you today and talk about them for a few moments.

1. 1:17 – “I pray for a spirit of wisdom and revelation”
2. 1:18 – “I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened.”

Why are these important? Because it is so easy to lose our eyesight.
