On episode fifty-five of the Gotta Be Saints Podcast, I spoke with Joey Pontarelli and Miranda Henkel about divorce.

Biographies:
As a child of divorce, Joey Pontarelli started Restored (RestoredMinistry.com) to help other children of divorce. Restored offers the practical guidance and support that teens and young adults from broken families need to heal and grow, so they can feel whole again.

Joey graduated from Franciscan University of Steubenville with a bachelor's degree in Finance and from Benedictine College with an MBA. He has spoken around the U.S., in Europe, and in Central America. His articles have been published by the Chastity Project, the Culture Project, FOCUS, and Shalom Tidings Magazine. Joey lives in Colorado with his wife, Brigid.

Miranda was born in Caracas, Venezuela, although she spent most of her childhood in North Carolina. When she was 10 her family moved back to Venezuela where her life was changed forever when her parents divorced a year later. Shortly after, she and her younger sister moved with their mother back to the United States and settled in Charleston, SC.

Miranda graduated from Clemson University in 2015, moved back to Charleston where she met her husband and married him in 2020. They now reside in Florida where her husband is stationed with the U.S. Navy. She now works for Restored to help other children of divorce heal and grow. Miranda enjoys the beach, beer, trying to understand poetry and making fun of her husband.
