Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it and indulge it will eat its fruit and bear the consequences of their words.

Reflection:

Genesis 2:19 says God brought the animals to Adam “to see what he would call them… And whatever Adam called each living creature, that was its name.” As God allowed Adam’s declaration to stand, your words too carry power and authority. If you speak life or death, your declaration will stand. So speak wisely.
