Whats Next!? Podcast

This Friday & Saturday I am in a show entitled Black, Blue, All Lives; OH MY! The show will be at Jones Hall and tickets are available http://www.spahouston.org. You're going to hear me mention the word opportunity a lot this episode! I've been wondering when my number would be called! When does the opportunity meet my preparation! When will I have the opportunity to seize the moment (3:07). The show has me excited (5:24) to perform because this opportunity doesn't come very often; but when it showed its face, I felt as if I had signed up for the wrong thing! I thought that I would be acting but it turned out that I would be performing a poem! I was shocked after the first rehearsal and felt as if I had been deceived! Needless to say I wrote the poem inspired from spirituality (23:02) and I recite a snippet of it in tonight's episode! With 82 days left, I'm locked into the show this Friday and Saturday! Most Importantly we find out Whats Next!? (29:31) for Me! This episode is dedicated to my son! I love you John Ross Dike II bka Baby D rest in paradise/Heaven; when I see you again I would have served my purpose and Sit back, relax and enjoy Episode 127 of the Whats Next!? podcast a production of Still Visionary, Inc.

In 1996, on Nas's sophmore LP entitled It Was Written, he wrote a record entitled I Gave You Power from the gun's perspective. Ernie an owner of six guns and a GLOCK lover wants people to take gun possession, safety and training seriously (5:25). He first owned a high point, which he bought from the pawn shop, then a Smith and Wesson that he got from Academy! Evolving is the the word he feels defines him (45:55). Ernie's top three safety measures, treat the gun as if its always loaded, keep your finger off the trigger and never point the gun in someone's direction! Composure off King's Disease 2 is the songs that's on his mind (33:39)! Ernie sites being laid off as the moment that fueled his entrepreneurship. Last day of September 2021, last day of the third quarter; I needed to start the fourth quarter off strong! I will be in a play October 15 and 16th at Jones Hall tickets are available at htpps://www.spahouston.org! Alfredo a student in my first period algebra class asked me where the next episode was! I replied that I didn't know if I was going to do one! He said come on Coach Dike you have to do the podcast! He's invested in my podcast! I admire his admiration for my podcast. Alfredo pressing me had me feeling motivated (17:21). Listening to my favorite Nas LP "I AM" (16:10). What is the difference between Admiration and Adoration (11:12). Is there even a difference!? I found a clip that Lil Duval posted about Lil Boosie. I admire the adoration that Boosie has for Duval! I admire the fact that Boosie has remained relevant in a microwave era! Happy birthday to my man Phil and Freddy B. Happy Nigerian Independence Day!! Most Importantly we find out Whats Next!? (19:21) for Me! This episode is dedicated to my son! I just turned 37 September 18, 2021 at 5:13 PM. My mindset is find the dollar (7:34)! A lot occurred in the past week; I just wanted to bask in ending one year and starting another. I had two interesting conversations one with my brother in law and Michael Aigbedion the creator of the SayMichael podcast one man's attempt at Business, Family and Comedy! I had a student tell me that he subscribed to my podcast and will be checking out tonight's episode! I felt motivated to get it done no matter the cost (16:09)! Lately I have been glued to Verzes. In the recent showcase Fat Joe went against JA Rule, I am jamming JA's Story to tell and Fat Joe's Another Round (17:40)! I talk about the 73rd Emmy's and the lack of diversity in the nominees. (22:03). With 102 days left, I want to increase the sell my merch and help lease out apartments (30:44). Most Importantly we find out Whats Next!? (31:57) for Me! This episode is dedicated to my son! August 23, 2021 was the start of my seventh year teaching in the public high school setting! It was the start of Virgo Season and the Birthday of an icon in American Sports' History. Rest In Power Kobe Bryant! When I started teaching in my first contract year I said that in four years I will be somewhere else! That was the class of 2019. The class of 2020 came the next year and I said the same thing! Fast Forward to my seventh year and I fell PRESSED for more! (20:59)! Specifically in my career! Education is a valiant profession but I envisioned myself acting professionally! I find my self re-building my foundation! I took my first actors' headshots in years! In 124 days, (34:02) I end the third quarter and begin the fourth quarter with headshots and fixing my actors portfolio! Most Importantly we find out Whats Next!? (37:58) for Me! This episode is dedicated to my son! I love you John Ross Dike II bka Baby D rest in paradise/Heaven; when I see you again I would have served my purpose! Let me start out by saying that I'm not where I am today without the people who poured into me! Thank you!! There are a couple of firsts to this episode, first episode featuring a Christian Rapper and first episode in San Antonio; that I owe to my good friend and colleague Jonathan St. Mary. If you're reading this fam, I greatly appreciate what you have done for my podcast and introducing to me SonDaye Live Zealous. St. Mary was right in what he said! Sondaye's perspective very different! In this episode, Robert states that his movement is fueled by the zeal he feels for the Lord! The word that defines him is Zealous (8:23). The Christian Rap group Cross Movement (14:21) inspired him to inject his raps with lyrics and his cousin inspired his journey into rap (13:02). Everyone streaming this episode should take from the conversation that it will be authentic and you will hear real conversation! (9:14)! We discuss the creativity and redundancy (38:15) of hip hop music and talk about the aspect of breaking into music or entertainment (45:59). Lecrae's Keep Going and Nas's Every Ghetto are the songs that's on our mind (37:18)! With 165 days left (1:01:02) Robert want to learn discipline! Most Importantly we find out Whats Next!? (1:08:14) for Robert "SonDaye Live Zealous" Watkins! This episode is dedicated to my son! I love you John Ross Dike II bka Baby D rest in paradise/Heaven; when I see you again I would have served my purpose!
