Joining us this week for part 1 of our 2 part interview is the 2014 2nd rd draft pick of the Philadelphia Eagles and current San Francisco 49ers wide receiver, Jordan Matthews. On this episode we start by discussing what it was like growing up in Huntsville, Alabama, how he got involved in sports and his experience attending a majority all white high school. We talked about his recruiting process and how he didn’t have any scholarship offers after his senior season but how he ultimately ended up at Vanderbilt University. We went on to discuss the role his family played in who he has become, his work ethic and how his Freshman class helped changed the program.
