In this week’s episode, we bring to you the journey of five year NFL veteran Bruce Ellington. We talk about what it was like growing up in the small town of Moncks Corner, South Carolina, being apart of an athletic family, his journey through the recruiting process and how he ended up at the University of South Carolina on a basketball scholarship. He also tells us about the moment he decided to give football another shot, balancing both sports and when he knew it was time to go pro. Bruce goes on to give us insight into his process leading up to the draft and ultimately being drafted by San Francisco 49ers. He details Kaepernick‘s protest and what it was like to be on that team during this time, the ups and downs of playing in the NFL and opportunities he wished he had taken advantage of. It’s so many valuable lessons in this episode that don’t want to miss.
