Trending today: Victor and Aaron dissect a YouGov poll about what annoys people the most about air travel. Among the most annoying things: high ticket prices, ATC staffing shortages, uncomfortable seating, and unexpected delays – but not airline food, at least not anymore.

Trending today: a rapid decline in the vulture population in India – which indirectly results in tens of thousands of human deaths. Victor and Aaron wax philosophic about the delicate balance of our global ecosystem. (And Victor blames everything on factories, which is probably apropos.)

The post What’s Trending: The Best Part Of Waking Up Is AI In Your Cup appeared first on Chapelboro.com.

Trending today: Victor is upset by a survey that found 3 percent of Americans say they would prefer a painting if they knew it was AI-generated. That sparks a conversation about AI in art – with both Victor and Aaron agreeing that the best art includes some level of subverted expectations, which AI isn’t particularly good at. (Yet.) Also, Aaron is on the cutting edge of business travel trends, yet again.

Trending today: what’s going to be the “song of the summer” in 2026? It’s not likely to matter as much as it used to, because we’re not all listening to the same exact songs as much anymore – but interestingly, the Billboard charts aren’t turning over as much as they used to either, so last year’s hit summer song may turn out to be this year’s too. (“Lose Control” by Teddy Swims, if you’re wondering.)

Trending today: Victor is excited about new developments in smaller trucks, but frustrated because the Toyota IMV Origin is still unavailable in the U.S. Aaron’s not sold, though: the more Victor describes this thing, the more he’s convinced this is just a glorified golf cart. (Also, Aaron considers going on strike.)

Trending today: a YouGov poll on whether people believe in the existence of aliens, Bigfoot, the yeti, and the Loch Ness Monster. Slightly more people believe in Bigfoot than the yeti – which confuses Victor, but Aaron thinks he understands. (Also, Victor is introduced to his ideal Disney World experience.)

Trending today: a measurable increase in the prevalence of smoking in movies and TV shows, after years of steady decline. (That decline was part of a conscious push to dissuade people from smoking – but that effort has waned a bit and on-screen tobacco use is making a comeback.)
